We built attractive playhouses for children at the newly renovated Majmunjak playground in the center of Sisak

The newly renovated Majmunjak children’s playground, located between Rimska Street and Stjepan and Antun Radić Street, has opened. This playground is one of the most visited in the city of Sisak, and the first to try it out after the opening were children from the Sisak Stari Kindergarten.

“In a situation where many homes are still awaiting reconstruction, we decided to build a new playground with the financial support of dm, because we want to bring life back to the city center, and the joy of children on the playground is proof that we are on the right track,” said Mayor Kristina Ikić Baniček, who also announced that the construction of a new playground in Zeleni Brijeg would start soon.

The Majmunjak playground renovation project was supported by dm with a donation of 213,750 kuna, in cooperation with Park-Life from Ivanić-Grad, the company that built the playhouses. The project is part of the campaign TOGETHER for Petrinja, Glina, and Sisak, aimed at supporting the reconstruction and development of areas affected by the earthquake. At the opening, dm representative Ivan Horvat emphasized that dm will continue to support projects in the city of Sisak in the future.
